    Harvard Neuroscientist Talks about the Benefits of Meditation

    Sara Lazar, a neuroscientist at Harvard, whose research has illuminated the brains areas which change with the practice of meditation was speaking to The Washington Post last year about her experience of doing meditation and the benefits she accrued from it. She is the same lady whose studies have shown that regular practice of meditation leads to changes in brain parts which are responsible for mind-wandering, emotional regulation, perspective taking, etc. It is worth listening to her. Through meditation, we able to exploit the inbuilt limitation of the brain to our advantage.
