Ingredients
For two cups: One and half cup water, two tea spoonfuls tea leaves (loose), a quarter cup milk, half an inch fresh ginger root, half tea spoon fennel seeds, two small cardamoms (coarsely ground), half an inch cinnamon stick, sugar to taste.
Method
In a pan mix all the ingredients except milk and tea leaves and place it on the stove. When the water comes to a boil, simmer it down for a couple of minutes, and then add tea leaves. Brew for a few seconds and add milk. When it comes to a boil, strain and transfer into tea cups. This tea is particularly beneficial and soothing, when down with flu, cough and cold. Enjoy the cup!
